Preparing for Your Wedding While Avoiding the Christmas Rush

By Mina Deocareza | December 2015

Christmas is just around the corner. If your wedding is already near, it is best to know the right strategies you need to spare yourself from the hassle brought by the Christmas rush. To do this, here are some practical tips you might want to consider:

1. Have a checklist of everything you need.

Check whether you already have everything you need for your wedding or not. Prepare a checklist, so you can easily identify what else has to be done. This will save you so much time. It will help you not to miss anything, too.

2. Go for a last-minute shopping—as soon as possible

Do you need some more items for your wedding? Go and buy them before it is too late. Remember, stores will be filled with more people days from now.

3. Seek help from friends

Just because it is your wedding does not mean you should do everything by yourself. If possible, seek help from friends, too. If you need to buy certain items, why not try to ask your friends first? They may be going to a nearby place soon so ask if they can buy you some stuff as well.

4. Hire a coordinator

Expect things to be crazier during the Christmas season. So if you really want to avoid the hassle, try hiring a coordinator instead. Some coordinators actually offer day-of wedding coordinator services so why not give it a shot?
