Final Cast Set For 8th Philippine Web Awards

The
finalists for this year’s 8th Philippine Web Awards have

Online voting for People’s Choice is now open. To vote,
simply log on to the competition’s official Web site.

The
winners of this year’s Philippine Webbies will
be announced at the Awards Night on Nov. 25, 7 p.m.,
at the Meralco Theater in Pasig City.
Winners of Best Web Site for each of the 14 categories
will receive P10,000 and a Webbies trophy, the symbol
of Web excellence. Trophies will also be given to the
winners of People Choice in each category.

As

will be giving a special gift to the winners of the Best
Website and People’s Choice Award for the Home &
Living Category.
In keeping with the Webbies tradition, a special prize will
be given for "Best Costume" to a member of the
audience whose attire best embodies this year’s theme,
"Festivals & Fiestas." A pocket PC, Web development
software, and No Curfew watches, among other prizes, will
be raffled off.
