Trash the dress: alternative
wedding photography
22 August 2007
"Trash the dress"
is now becoming a rage with couples who want to add something
new to their wedding album.
After the wedding bliss,
the couple wears their wedding attire once again for a farewell
photo. To achieve the look, wedding photographers take pictures
of couples in a creative way, in an unconventional setting
that more often than not ravages their dress. Not to be misunderstood,
they say "trash the dress" photo style is more of
a couple's artistic expression of being 'free and liberated'
from all the wedding prep and stress.
Introducing the alternative
wedding photo concept here in the Philippines, Mr. Lito Genilo
of Smart Shot Studio did his very first "trash the dress"
session last month with his client, to-be wed Cocoy and Pops,
in La Luz, San Juan Batangas. Though the concept is supposed
to be implemented after the wedding bliss, Mr. Genilo experimented
and applied the style in their pre-nuptial photo shoot.
