COUNTRY ACCENTS is one of Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental's promising wedding florist and stylist. They started as a simple little shop in the owner's rented house in Hibbard Avenue in Dumaguete City. The owner's love for art fueled by her passion to perfect her creations made Country Accent's small beginnings into something grand! Turning her small garage space into a gift items shop was not an easy task. Stocks were piled up in the tiny space while friends and neighbors came to admire the elegant and intricate details on the items. Country Accents' first customers were Annie's close friends. At the height of the Christmas season on 2005, the shop was flooded with people who purchased gift items for families and friends, others came to drive by and check the new items. By word of mouth, the shop became well known among the elite in the city. The first shop. The transfer to Sta. Catalina Street proved effective for the shop. It promised new customers and old ones were happier about the convenience of the new location. Today, Country Accents is situated near a much popular venue; it is now located near the posh restaurants & hotels, & the popular Dumaguete boulevard. It blossomed from a tiny gift items shop in a garage, into a home decor/furniture/gift item shop. Country Accents is currently located at #15 Colon Street (across the Dumaguete Fire Station), Dumaguete City, Philippines. Accidental Florist. A friend saw Annie's fondness for beautiful things & asked if she could decorate the church & reception hall for a family member's upcoming wedding. This started Country Accents' wade into the flower business. Currently, Country Accents is helping brides-to-be realize and reinvent their dream wedding. Country Accents is also a member of Kasalang Filipino, a well known Philippine Wedding site. The proprietress. The shop owner; Annie Mayol is a retired PLDT supervisor. She started creating and designing after leaving the company. She spoils her dogs with treats & loves decorating her own home. She has 2 daughters & 2 granddaughters with husband; Celso "Boy" Mayol.
