Metro Magazine, together with Rustan’s and Kasal.com showed couples-to-be how to make their weddings stylish and fun with Aisle Style last July 27-28 at Rustan’s Makati 6th floor.
The Bride’s Maids and Co., Dove, Weddings by Victoria, Joey 92.3 Rhythms, Weigh Less Center, City Garden Hotel Makati, and Block and White presented different ideas and concepts in making the wedding simply perfect.
The two-day event featured a series of talks for the betrothed. Recent bride Daphne Oseña-Paez disclosed her bridal diary with the crowd of excited brides-to-be. Wedding coordinators shared their expertise: Cristina Victoria Patolot-Velasco (Weddings by Victoria) gave a run-down on the planning process while Rachel Martelino-Climent (Bride’s Maids & Co.) and Zenas Pineda of Rustan’s Flower Shop showed different table settings with matching floral arrangements. Rachy Cuna gave the finishing touches with some easy-to-do table settings.
For the glowing bride, Clarins skin care specialists offered free skin care consultation and make-over while Rachel Aguila of H Salon and Diana Lorenzo of Essenses presented some hairstyle and make-up tips for the big day.
Weddings could also mean stress so the Yoga Foundation exhibited some techniques to ease pre-wedding jitters and body aches. Meanwhile, Rustan’s in-house designers Criselda Lontok, Pia Hebron and Steff Sarmiento satisfied the fashionista in every bride with stylish entourage attire tips.
The highlight of the event was the unveiling of the July-December 2002 issue of Metro Weddings, “I Do.” Metro Magazine editor-in-chief Thelma Sioson- San Juan, Rustan’s Group of Companies head Ambassador Bienvenido Tantoco and ABS-CBN’s Global Mon Lopez presented to the crowd the latest installment of the bridal bible with Sarah Meier as cover girl. A trunk show featuring intimate wear by Rustan’s followed, directed by model/actor Kenji Marquez.
