Wedding Basics 2006 on its first year marked its success in the corners of the Artist’s Ballroom last November 12, 2006 at The Heritage Hotel Manila.

The event was started with the traditional ribbon cutting with the Hotel’s Director of Catering Ms. Gigi Gaw, Mr. Mar Aleroza, Ms. Jennylyn Cusi, and Kasal. Com Representative Ms. Cathy Manlagnit.

SJT Strings
|
The morning was transformed into a magical scene with the mesmerizing performances rendered by the SJT Strings and the indoor garden design of Mr. Pido Villanueva. The new and trendy ideas from over 60 merchants were showcased during the exhibit bringing couples and guests to flock the event.
Additional performances from Classic Unlimited Songs warmed the hearts of every audiences.

Sunlife Financial Plans, Inc. shared valuable insights on the financial and investment aspect, giving couples great ideas on how they can get better investment and saving opportunities during their married years.

Metro Comedy Bar’s Comic Duo, MC and Lassy, entertained audience with their comic skit just right before the much awaited wedding fashion show. Ms. Nicole Ayala of Love Radio hosted the fashion show which was directed by Peng Trono of Metro Comedy Bar. The designers who participated are Mr. Gerry Katigbak, Ms. Carmen Lazaro of Vonticar Bridal, Peter Lim, Mr. Alex Racho of Kingsmen, and Mr. Dennis Martin.

Adding spice to the show were the bridal accessories from All About Beads and the elegant flowers designs from Holland Tulips. Elegant shoes from VNC and Tenorio Manila complemented the elegant formal wear. Hair and make up artists Val Villarin, Ara Fernando and Elaine Ganuelas of Picture Perfect, Francis Guintu and Jim Ros brought out the best look of the models.
Norman Gorecho captured every special activity on the event and gave free shots to couples and guests through out the day. Nestea Ice Tea gave away sample bottles for guests and soon-to-weds.
