The year 2022 has been packed with a lot of events and emotions. As we approach its end, let us take a look back at some of the Pinoy celebrity weddings that took place this year.

Hale’s frontman said “I do” to his non-showbiz partner Claire Nery in an intimate ceremony held at St. James the Great Parish in Alabang, Muntinlupa City on Jan. 23.
Geoff Eigenmann

The actor finally married his long-time partner and fiancée Angeli Mae Flores, more popularly known by her screen name Maya on Feb. 22. Their intimate union was held at Victory Christian Fellowship Church in Alabang, Muntinlupa City.
The couple announced their engagement in April 2019 and were supposed to wed a year later. However, it was postponed due to the pandemic and Maya’s pregnancy with her third child with Geoff.
Erich Gonzales

Erich and her businessman boyfriend Mateo Lorenzo sealed the deal in an intimate wedding ceremony at James the Great Parish in Alabang, Muntinlupa City on March 23.
It is worth noting, however, that Erich has not posted official photos of their wedding on her own Instagram page. In fact, when media outlets reported on the union, they mostly cited a now-deleted post made by a relative of Mateo.
Wilma Doesn’t

Wilma and her partner of 15 years, Gerick Parin, finally tied the knot in a Christian garden ceremony that took place at Aquila Events Place in Tagaytay City on March 24. They had an outdoor reception at the same location afterward.
Ynna Asistio

Ynna, an actress and influencer, said “I do” to Bully Carbonell on Aug. 8. Their wedding happened only eight days after his proposal to her. The couple then broke the news a day after their wedding that they were expecting their first child, whom Ynna gave birth to on Oct. 26.
Shaira Luna

Celebrity photographer Shaira, who rose to fame as a “Promil Kid” in the 90s, proved that she was the real “Ukay Queen” when she married her partner Cocoy Aranas wearing a thrifted vintage dress, which she had bought for P100 in La Union. Their union took place at Illustrado Restaurant Ballroom on Aug. 12.
Serena Dalrymple

Serena and her boyfriend Thomas Bredillet wed in an outdoor ceremony held in Lake Winnipesaukee, New Hampshire, on Oct. 3. The former child star announced their wedding the following day and was even congratulated by Shaina Magdayao.

The singer, whose discography includes the 2022 hit song “Gusto Ko nang Bumitaw,” surprised her fans when she announced on Jan. 28 that she had been married to Dave Lamar for several months now.
But while her wedding didn’t actually take place this year, it surely became the talk of the town in 2022.
With these weddings in mind, we cannot help but get more excited for the celebrity unions that will take place in 2023.
