The spike-haired half of Youtube sensation Moymoy Palaboy, Roadfill Macasero, had his one-of-a-kind wedding with sultry model Farah Lopez last December. Their unique gothic themed wedding is surely one of 2012’s Weddings of the Year.
With Moymoy Palaboy Duo being regular in GMA 7’s Bubble Gang show, their wedding is star-studded with celebrity friends from the network like Rufa Mae Quinto, Michael V., Ogie Alcasid, Aljur Abrenica, Regine Velasquez, Mark Herras, among others.
It was their good friend Rufa Mae Quinto, who is both their wedding sponsor and “bestgirl”, who introduced them to the wedding supplier sponsors of Weddings & Debuts 2013 Bridal Fair to help make their dream wedding possible. These suppliers include Alex Michael Del Rosario of Juan Carlo The Caterer, Edd Sy of Edd Sy Collection, Event Stylist Larry Natividad, and Lito and Mheann Genilo of Smart Shot Studio, Coincidentally, Rufa Mae is the image model of the 2013 edition of Weddings & Debuts Bridal Fair this February to be held at the SM Megamall.
Their spooky purple wedding invitations gave their guests an early clue to their wedding theme. The unique invite featured a caricature of Roadfil and Farah, which Roadfil himself created a few years back and kept by Farah.
Styled by wedding make-up artist Faye Young and artistically shot by internationally awarded lensman Lito Genilo of Smart Shot Studio in the newest photo studio in Quezon City, Studio Namu, they had both the scary zombie style and the glamorous Barbie prenup photo theme.
Fashion designer Edd Sy complemented the gothic wedding theme with the bride’s black and white bridal gown. Larry Natividad, Weddings & Debuts 2013 Bridal Fair official florist and event stylist, designed the gothic wedding ceremony ambiance and mood lighting. The unique setup he created transported the guests to the centuries of old.
Their three-layer wedding cake intricately designed by Hearts and Bells Cake Artistry, also matched the wedding theme with its black laced patterns and purple gumpaste flowers.
Juan Carlo The Caterer, on the other hand, prepared the sumptuous menu for their guests consisting of Beef Taquitos and Chicken Croquettes with Homemade Tartar Sauce, Fresh Mushroom Soup, Garden Salad With Caesar and Raspberry Vinaigrette, Steamed Fish Fillet with Tequila Cream Sauce, Roast Pork with Prunes and Walnuts, Chicken Thai, Spaghetti Alfredo, Mixed Vegetables in Oyster Sauce, Pandan Panacotta and Parisian Fruit Tartlets.
Photo and video coverage of the wedding was done by Nice Print Photography, who many already dubbed as the wedding photographer to the stars.
Their wedding theme may be weird or scary, but their genuine love for each other is very evident and brought smiles (not scares) to their wedding guests.
