Donney and Hazel are both overseas Filipino workers (OFWs). They found planning a wedding here in the Philippines challenging and stressful at first.
They already set a budget and talked about their wedding theme. However, they had a major problem: they could not meet their potential wedding suppliers in person, so it was hard for them to evaluate each of these suppliers. What they did, instead, was they did some research to learn more about these vendors. They also relied on reviews to choose the ones for their wedding. They also hired a wedding coordinator.
All of the suppliers did well, fortunately. They had a great wedding at Caleruega Chapel in Nasugbu, Batangas last February 5, 2018 with their help. In fact, they exceeded the couple’s expectations.
These wedding suppliers included Casa de Corazon (reception), L and J Catering (catering), Eye in D Sky Photography (photo and video + photo booth), CJ Jimenez (hair and makeup), Bridehouse (wedding gown) Entourage: MZL Designs (entourage), and Urbanista (invitation).
“‘First time ko ma experience ang ganito kasaya.'” These were the words that Donney told me right after our wedding program. Yes, I totally agree with him. Sobra naming na-enjoy ang wedding day. And for us, everything went well; More than pa sa expectations. Syempre di maiiwasan ang small errors, missing details and bloopers. Nevertheless, we are happy, satisfied and contented. We are grateful to have the excellent and professional suppliers who helped us along the way,” Hazel said when asked about their wedding.
Most of all, they also developed team work, trust, and patience as a couple during the process. When asked for advice to other soon-to-weds, they quoted Padre Pio in their answer. “Pray, hope and do not worry” enjoy your wedding day, think of nothing but the joy of being as one.”
Congratulations, Donney and Hazel!
